A trauma center is a hospital equipped and staffed to provide care for patients suffering from minor to major traumatic injuries such as household injuries, falls, motor vehicle collisions.

Trauma & Accident Care (Level III-Level V) at Satyam Hospital has the ability to provide prompt assessment, resuscitation, surgery if available and possible, intensive care, and stabilization of injured patients and emergency operations.

Trauma Care Offers

• 24-hour immediate coverage on call by General Surgeon.
• Basic emergency department facilities to implement ATLS protocols.
• May provide evaluation, stabilization, and diagnostic capabilities for injured patients.
• May provide Surgery/Emergency Surgery if available and possible.
• Can transfer patients requiring more comprehensive care at a Level I or Level II Trauma Center or higher-level trauma center.
